Tremendous capacities for Japan investments in Iran: Larijani

Speaker of the Iranian parliament, Ali Larijani, during a meeting with the Speaker and a group of Japanese MPs in Tokyo, welcomed the development of business relations between the two countries, and stressed there are a lot of potentials for Japanese investment in Iran in various fields such as oil, gas, petrochemicals and the pharmaceutical industry.
Iranian high-ranking official expressed his satisfaction on Tuesday to meet the Speaker of the House of Councillors of Japan, and noted, 'The relations between Iran and Japan are long and continuous, and now that the 90th year of political relations between the two countries is passing, the two-state relations are friendly, but necessary more steps will be taken between Iran and Japan.
Saying it is a good opportunity to take further steps between Iran and Japan, speaker of the parliament said, 'Some countries may seek to disrupt relations that should not be allowed.'
Recalling that there was no tension between Iran and Japan over the course of history, Larijani stated, 'The reason for this is the close proximity of the two countries and in Iran there is a positive outlook for Japan, adding, 'We are interested in working with you in various industrial, technical and commercial sectors.”
