Lauding the Nation for accepting the Supreme court decision on Ayodhya temple with open minds, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said the verdict has brought with it a new dawn for the country.
'The highest court of the land's decision has brought with it a new dawn for us. The matter may have impacted numerous generations, but with this, we must resolve that the new generations will involve themselves in making a new India' the Prime Minister said in his address to the Nation after the verdict.
The New India will not tolerate any negativity, Mr Modi stressed. The 125 crore people today have written a new history, Mr Modi maintained, adding that 'this will be a chapter written in golden letters'.
Congratulating the judiciary and the judges, Mr Modi said the whole judiciary deserves a special pat for this task.
Today's message is 'Jodne ka, judne ka aur mil kar jeene ka' (Unite, get united and live in harmony), the Prime Minister said.
Expressing hope, he said the new generation will work judiciously in making of the 'New India'.
'We have to look forward, work for India's future. There are challenges and goals before us. Every Indian can accomplish this by working together. Let us keep November 9 in mind and resolve to move ahead,' Mr Modi said.
'The matter may have impacted numerous generations, but with this decision, the people must resolve that the new generations will involve themselves in making a new India, Mr Modi said.
The Prime Minister maintained that that in India, known for 'Unity in diversity', this mantra has been seen blooming in all its glory.
'Today represents a golden hour for India's judiciary. The Supreme Court heard everyone, and carefully and delivered a verdict in a matter that is hundreds of years old,' Mr Modi maintained.
He said today is November 9, the date when the Berlin Wall had fallen. 'Two opposing sides had come together. Today, on November 9, the Kartarpur corridor has started, and India and Pakistan have had a role,' he stated.
'The whole world believes that India is the world's biggest democracy. Today, the world has also come to know how vibrant and strong India's democracy is,' he maintained.
Mr Modi said there is no place for fear in new India. 'The Supreme Court has shown the country that the most difficult of issues can be resolved under the law, under the Constitution,' he maintained.
