Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday attacked Yogi Adityanath government and the RSS on separate incidents, which occurred in the BJP-ruled state Uttar Pradesh.
On the controversy over the removal of a senior official of the Banaras Hindu University, who removed a RSS flag from playground on campus, Ms Priyanka questioned the rational of RSS shakha in the Madan Mohan Malavia founded campus.
"What is the rational of having RSS shakha in the backyard of Malavyaji (founded university)? It is the RSS job to break all the rules", the Congress leader tweeted.
Ms Priyanka's statement came a day after Kiran Damale, the Deputy Chief Proctor at BHU's Mirzapur campus, has been forced to quit her post and has also been registered case for 'insulting religious beliefs' by reportedly removing RSS flag.
In a separate tweet, Ms Priyanka also lashed out at Yogi government over the police action against farmers in Unnao, who were protesting that they did not get adequate compensation for their land that were acquired for Trans Ganga City project of Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation.
While sharing a video of that police lathi charge against farmers, Ms Priyanka tweeted in Hindi, "Is the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister only able to give speeches on farmers? Because the BJP government is continuously insulting farmers. In Unnao, the farmers, who were demanding compensation for the land, were brutally beaten by the police. Women were also beaten. If you taken land from farmers, then compensation will have to be paid".
Ms Priyanka, who is also in-charge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh is continuously attacking the Yogi Aditayanath government on various issues such as women safety, law and order situations.
