New Delhi, Nov 12: The Supreme Court on Monday deferred to Friday, the hearing in the case related to removal of CBI director Alok Verma from the bureau.
The Central Vigilance Commission’s delay in submitting its inquiry reports against Verma led to the postponement.
The Commission submitted its partial report today.
A two judge bench of the Apex Court, headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi and also comprising Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul deferred the matter to Friday.
“We adjourn the matter to Friday,” the CJI Gogoi said.
