Ammar al-Hakim, the leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement, said on Saturday that Iran's 1979 Islamic Revolution led by late Imam Khomeini has kept Quds case alive.
Al-Hakim made the remarks in a statement in which he congratulated the Iranian government and nation, particularly Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on the occasion of the 39th victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
Remembering the deep effects of this live revolution on the international, Islamic and regional levels as well as its strong resistance to 'evil and darkness powers' caused the Quds case to remain alive, he said.
Al-Hakim, however, noted that efforts are underway to make vanish the Islamic nature of the revolution.
He, meantime, hailed Iran's support for the Iraqi government and nation in the fight against terrorism which led to the full liberation of the country from the hands of Daesh terrorists.
