Donald Trump, the U.S.President currently in Qatar, commended Iranian-made drones during a meeting attended by executives of major American companies—including Larry Culp, CEO of GE Aerospace (a jet engine manufacturer).
During the meeting, he stated: “I told one of the (American) companies that I want a lot of drones. Iran makes good drones and does it for $35 to $40 thousand.”
Trump added: ”That company came back two weeks later with a drone priced at $41 million. I told them that’s not what I meant—I meant a drone costing no more than $35 to $40 thousand. (These drones) are vrey good, fast, deadly, and terrifying.”
