Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on Pakistan during a rally in Bikaner on Thursday, condemning the April 22 terrorist attack and praising the Indian armed forces for their swift retaliation.
Addressing a massive gathering, the Prime Minister said that although he remains calm and composed, his blood runs hot with passion and determination when it comes to nation. He added that in his veins flows not just blood, but hot sindoor, symbolising his deep sense of commitment and energy.
“Pakistan forgot one thing, now the servant of Mother India, Modi, is standing here with pride. Modi's mind is cold, but his blood is hot. In Modi's veins, not blood, but hot Sindoor flows," said PM Modi.
He further stated that Pakistan can never win a direct war against India, which is why it resorts to using terrorism as a weapon, adding that, this strategy has been in place for decades after India’s independence.
Furthermore, PM Modi stated that Rajasthan has shown us that nothing matters more than the nation. Referring to the April 22 incident, he said that terrorists attacked innocent people, asked them about their religion and wiped the sindoor off the foreheads of women. He added that the bullets fired in Pahalgam that day hurt the hearts of 140 crore Indians.
He said, "Those who set out to wipe off the sindoor have been buried in the soil. Those who shed India’s blood have paid for every drop. Those who thought India would stay silent are now hiding in their homes. And those who took pride in their weapons now lie buried beneath their own rubble."
PM Modi emphasised that the country had vowed to retaliate in an unforgettable manner. “With the valour of our armed forces, Pakistan was forced to bow. Within just 22 minutes of the attack, terrorist camps were destroyed,” he declared, adding that India’s response sent a strong message to its enemies.
Highlighting his government's firm stance on national security, PM Modi said that Indian army was given a free hand. "All three forces together created such a Chakravyuh (military formation) that Pakistan was forced to kneel down,” he said.
Congress leader launches sharp attack on PM Modi
After the speech, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh posed four sharp questions for PM Modi, ranging from the absence of all party meet following Pahalgam attack to his silence on US claims of mediating ceasefire between India and Pakistan during Operation Sindoor.
In a tweet, the Congress leader said, “Instead of throwing out grand sounding but hollow filmi dialogues in public rallies as he has done in Bikaner today, the Prime Minister should answer serious questions that are being asked of him.”
Meanwhile, during his Bikaner visit, PM Modi is scheduled to visit Nal Air Force Station in Bikaner, where he is set to interact with the Armed Forces and boost their morale. It may be noted that PM Modi’s Bikaner visit comes in the aftermath of India's Operation Sindoor, during which the Nal Air Force Station was targeted by Pakistan. However, India successfully thwarted all attacks.
Before addressing the crowd, PM Modi inaugurated the redeveloped Deshnoke Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, which is an initiative aimed at redeveloping over 1,300 railway stations across India.
He also laid the foundation stone of Churu-Sadulpur rail line (58 km) and dedicated to the Nation Suratgarh-Phalodi (336 km); Phulera-Degana (109 km); Udaipur-Himmatnagar (210 km); Phalodi-Jaisalmer (157 km) and Samdari-Barmer (129 km) rail line electrification and public welfare projects worth Rs. 26,000 crores for Rajasthan.
