Hezbollah’s memorial service for its martyred leaders held

TEHRAN: Hezbollah’s memorial service for its martyred secretary generals, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine and their companions in last year's Israeli savage attacks kicked off in Beirut on Saturday.
On the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, former Secretary General of Hezbollah, supporters of the resistance gathered in the southern suburbs of Beirut to honor the path of resistance and express their loyalty and love to resistance martyrs
Participants in the ceremony chanted the slogan "Labaya Ya Nasrallah" , "We are with Nasrallah," and "Labayk Ya Khamenei".
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was martyred on September 27th of last year in a criminal attack by the Zionist occupation regime on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Secretary of Iran's National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani and his accompanying Iranian delegation are attending the massive event.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei sent a message to the ceremony.
Also, current Hezbollah chief Sheikh Naim Qassem delivered a speech at the ceremony.
In his speech," Qassem commended the large turnout at the first commemoration marking the martyrdom anniversary of former Secretaries General Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Safieddine.
"Your body departed this world, yet your soul continues to inspire—once a leader, now a guide for leaders," the Hezbollah leader further said.
"You carried the banner of resistance and planted the love of Palestine in our hearts — a seed that grew into a steadfast, defiant resistance and opened the era of victories," he further addressed Martyr Nasrallah.
