Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Monday strongly condemned the recent attack on Chief Justice of India B.R. Gavai, attributing it to the “arrogant” attitude of the BJP.
“Some people’s hands are stained with the dirt of arrogance, and even a shoe feels humiliated in their hands,” Yadav said in a post on his WhatsApp channel, emphasizing that those who insult the PDA (oppressed, downtrodden, and marginalized) community are suffering from a deep-seated disease of dominance and supremacy.
Yadav asserted that the PDA community, representing the oppressed and marginalized sections, will no longer tolerate such humiliation and disrespect. “The generosity and good nature of the PDA community have allowed such people to get away with their behavior for 5,000 years, but not anymore,” he said.
He further claimed that the BJP is in the final days of its rule, as its corrupt electoral strategies have been exposed, and alleged that the party will never win again. “The BJP and its allies are in their last lap, and their desperation is driving them to commit such heinous acts,” he said.
Yadav also emphasized that the current era represents a struggle between “humiliation and dignity,” and the PDA community will emerge victorious. “This is a battle for our self-respect and dignity, and we will win it,” he declared.
His remarks come amid growing tensions between the SP and the BJP, with the opposition accusing the ruling party of using administrative machinery to suppress dissent and intimidate opponents.
