TEHRAN:Palestinian Islamic Jihad Resistance Movement Ziyad al-Nakhalah has said that the people of the Gaza Strip and its resistance groups fought against an international coalition led by the United States.
He made the remarks in a speech at the 34th Arab National Conference, held at the Lebanese capital of Beirut, on Friday, noting that all the resistance groups were united against the Israeli aggression.
He seized this opportunity to express his thanks to the countries, including Iran, Lebanon, Yemen, Egypt and Qatar, that stood by the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Nakhalah pointed to the situation of Palestinian people in the West Bank, stating that Palestinian people in the West Bank are facing a real battle that threatens the Palestinians there.
What is happening in Gaza is beyond Israel's ability to control it, he emphasized.
The Palestinian Islamic Jihad Resistance Movement emphasized protesting and maintaining the Resistance Front under any circumstances, the secretary general added.
