President Droupadi Murmu today paid tributes to Guru Tegh Bahadur on the occasion of his 350th martyrdom day. In a social media post, she said that Guru Tegh Bahadur’s message of walking on the path of religion, justice, and steadfastness is an inspiration for all humanity.
President Murmu added, the strength to face every situation with courage, patience, and firm determination comes from His sacrifice made for the protection of faith and human rights. The President further urged the countrymen to internalise Guru Tegh Bahadur’s teachings and continue to move forward relentlessly for the creation of an empowered and developed India.
