Meloni Urges Clear Iran Agreement with IAEA Participation

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni addressed the 46th Summit of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council on Wednesday, advocating for a definitive agreement on Iran, with the active involvement of the International Atomic Energy Agency, to provide assurances to the global community.
Meloni further commented on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, stating that Israel should acknowledge the Palestinian right to establish a sovereign state. She added that President Trump’s plan presents a genuine opportunity to create a lasting framework for peace and security in the region.
The Italian Prime Minister asserted that pursuing a two-state solution is the pathway to achieving security and stability in the Middle East.
