President Donald Trump held a 40-minute phone call with key European leaders to discuss the situation in Ukraine.
Bloomberg reported that Prime Minister Ker Starmer of the United Kingdom, President Emmanuel Macron of France, and Chancellor Friedrich Merz of Germany spoke with Trump on Wednesday.
The Élysée Palace confirmed the conversation, noting that the leaders addressed the war in Ukraine. The French presidential office added that the call centered on efforts to achieve progress in resolving the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
