Yemeni Delegation Consults UN Envoy on Saudi Aggressions

Members of a delegation dispatched by Sanaa met with Hans Grundberg, the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, in Oman. The discussions focused on the Sanaa government’s stance against Saudi Arabian aggressions.
The Yemeni delegation members stressed that Saudi Arabia has opposed the lifting of the blockade imposed on the country’s airports and ports. Simultaneously, they clarified that avenues remain open for achieving a solution to address Yemen’s humanitarian needs.
Last night, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah, stated that the Saudi regime has targeted all aspects of life in Yemen, and its brutal crimes constitute war crimes against humanity. He asserted that all definitions of war crimes apply to the atrocities committed by the Saudi regime in Yemen.
Al-Houthi further elaborated that the Saudi regime has revealed its brutal nature, killing thousands of children, women, and civilians in homes, mosques, schools, and marketplaces across Yemen. He highlighted that the Saudi regime has targeted over 2,000 mosques and has struck celebrations and mourning ceremonies, asserting that they possess all documentation and footage related to these crimes.
