Opposition Leaders Detained
Several Opposition MPs and leaders were detained as police moved to disperse the demonstration. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were among the prominent Congress leaders involved in the protest.
The Opposition has been demanding accountability from the Election Commission and has stepped up its campaign over the revision of electoral rolls.
