Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador to the occupied Palestinian territories, declared on Tuesday that Washington does not support the formation of an autonomous Palestinian state.
The ambassador asserted that if a Palestinian state were ever established, it would have to be located elsewhere in the region-outside the west Bank.
When asked whether establishing a Palestinian state remains a goal of U.S. policy, Huckabee responded: “I don’t think so. Unless notable changes occur, there’s no place for it.”
