TEHRAN: Israeli regime Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called Qatar’s prime minister to apologise for the recent aggression on the Arab country's soil.
A diplomatic source has told Al Jazeera that Netanyahu has called Qatar’s PM to apologise after it carried out air strikes on Hamas negotiators in the capital earlier this month which killed seven people, including a Qatari security officer.
The aggression drew worldwide condemnations.
The Israeli regime's prime minister was reportedly urged by American President Donald Trump in the White House on Monday afternoon.
Trump said before the meeting that a ceasefire deal for Gaza was possible in a few days.
This is while, Israeli regime media reported on Monday that the Gaza resistance forces killed or wounded 11 Israeli soldiers in operation in Gaza city.
On September 9, Israeli regime launched airstrikes in Doha, targeting a Qatari security guard. Although the target was Hamas leadership, they survived.
