Top commander says Iran ready to give decisive response to enemy’s breach of commitments

Tehran: The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters says the Iranian armed forces will appropriately respond to any breach of commitment by the enemy.
In a message marking the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), Major General Ali Abdollahi wrote the heroic Iranian nation takes pride in the authority, readiness, and comprehensive strategic capabilities of the IRGC and other armed forces, who have driven the Israeli enemy and terrorist US to desperation and exhaustion with devastating missile and drone strikes, forcing them to humbly request a ceasefire.
The Iranian people, with their passionate and widespread presence in streets, have not abandoned their support for the armed forces, he added.
The brave Iranian armed forces, together with the government and people, united and in full compliance with the directives of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, are ready to deliver decisive, definitive, and immediate responses to enemy threats, he noted.
With the upper hand, the Armed Forces will prevent the deceitful and delusional US president from exploiting or creating false accounts of the battlefield situation during the military silence, particularly concerning the management and control of the Strait of Hormuz and will respond appropriately to any violation of commitments.
Earlier on the day, Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said Iran would not accept negotiations under pressure, warning that US President Donald Trump is seeking to turn diplomacy into capitulation.
“Trump, by imposing a blockade and violating the ceasefire, seeks, in his imagination, to turn the negotiating table into a table of surrender or to justify renewed warmongering,” he added.
