Any breach of US ceasefire on one front violates entire truce: Iran FM

Tehran: Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says that any violation of the ceasefire between Iran and the United States on one front, including Lebanon, would be regarded as a breach of the truce across all fronts.
In a post on X on Monday, Araghchi said the ceasefire “constitutes, without any ambiguity, a comprehensive ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon.”
“Any violation of this ceasefire on one front shall be considered a violation of it across all fronts,” he wrote.
Araghchi added that the United States and Israel would bear responsibility for the consequences of any breach of the truce.
The remarks come amid continued Israeli cross-border attacks against Lebanon despite a ceasefire there.
Israeli forces have continued strikes on towns and villages in southern Lebanon, targeting homes and civilians in repeated violations of the ceasefire. Attacks carried out on Sunday and overnight into Monday struck more than 36 locations in southern Lebanon, killing 12 people and wounding 35 others.
