Lucknow December 15th 2017 : Protest demonstration was carried out from the Asifi Masjid after the Friday prayers against the US decision to make Jerusalem (Al-Quds) as the Israeli capital. The demonstration conducted by Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind was led by Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi. The procession started out from Asafi Masjid and terminated at the main gate of the Bara Imambara, but the protest was not allowed to go to the main road of Imambara, which need to be condemned. The demonstrators were shouting slogans of “Down with America and Down with Israel”. The national flag of US and Israel were burnt in the end of the protest demonstration.
Addressing protesters, Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi said that Israel and the US nature is to torture and they will never be tempted by their atrocities. That's why we also have to carry out our religious duty and support Innocent against Cruel. It is said that the American decision to accept Jerusalem's as Israel capital is gregarious because the United Nations has held a meeting at the UNESCO and accepted the rights of Muslims on Jerusalem. Therefore, the United Nations should take strict action against the US President in violation of international rules.
Maulana cautioned the Indian government saying that our government should not feel happy and be a victim of US friendship, because the example of US is just like a scorpion, whose nature is stinging, Maulana said that Hindu is a liberal community, so our present government should support Palestine's policies against Israel's atrocities. Maulana said that our country's foreign policy has always been a Palestinian supporter but the current government's deep connection to Israel therefore the Indian government should reconsider of its foreign policy and ending Israel's relationship.
Maulana Raza Husain, Maulana Ali Abbas Khan, Maulana Iftekhar Husain Inqelabi, Maulana Haider Abbas, Maulana Manzar Abbas, Maulana Feroz Husain, Maulana Zawar Husain, Maulana Sartaj Husain, Maulana Tanveer Husain, Maulana Shabahat Husain and other prominent ulemas were present and attended the demonstration protest.
Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind submitted memorandum to United Nations against this Trump decision.
Memorandum :
1. Decision of US in recognizing Jerusalem as Capital of Israel violates International laws, therefore this decision of US should be condemned at the global level and proper strict action should be taken against Trump.
2. Jerusalam (Al Quds) should be declared and recognized as the capital of Palestine as world already knows that Muslims have the first right on Jerusalem and Israel has illegally occupied it.
3. To remove Jerusalem’s Muslim identity it is declared as the capital of Israel therefore United Nations in the UNESCO meeting should accept in the light of proposals and try to hand over Jerusalem to Muslims and should end the illegal occupation of Israel.
4. Israel vandalism on innocent Palestine people and its terrorist activities should be brought to end.
