President slams US rule-breaking, cheating traits in both politics and sports

Tehran: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says that rule-breaking and cheating are common characteristics of the US conduct in both politics and sports.
He made the remarks in an English-language post on the social media platform X, stressing that Iran firmly defends its rights.
“The US government’s conduct as World Cup host follows its familiar foreign policy: bending rules, bullying rivals, creating obstacles, and cheating. This is their MAGA playbook,” the president wrote in his post on Wednesday.
Pezeshkian added that Iran does not accept such conduct and it will defend its rights with determination.
