With due regret It is inform that former President of Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind, Hujjat-ul-Islam, Janab Maulana Syed Ali Taqvi has passed away today in Delhi. Late Maulana Syed Ali Taqvi was bed ridden for a long period and was not well since few days. Today on December 12th, he passed away after the morning prayers. The funeral will be held in Agra today.
Maulana Syed Ali Taqvi was a brilliant religious Ulema and orator. After completion of education from India, Maulana went to Najaf-e-Ashraf and after receiving higher knowledge from Maraj-e-Ikram and Ayat Azam, Maulana came back to. In India he contributed a lot from Mimbar-o-Mehrab in the national services and was related to every movement. For more than 50 years Late Maulana has done the duties of Imam-e-Juma in the Shiite Mosque in Kashmir. Maulana remained committed to all religious and social movements of Delhi, New Delhi and India .Very importantly played a vital centralized role in Delhi national and community issues. Due to his innocence services and ideology was very much respected and popular personality.
On this incident of death of Maulana Syed Ali Taqvi, General Secretary of the Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind, Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi, expressed his deep condolence and grief, saying that the late Maulana had always decided to resolve national and community issues and he will be always sincerely remembered .He always guided Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind with his useful advice. Maulana said that the lack of the Late Maulana Ali Taqvi will always be remembered by community and the Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind.
From Mumbai President of Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind Syed Hussain Mehdi Hussaini and other prominent members of the Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind also expressed deep sorrow over the death of Maulana Ali Taqvi and offered condolence to his relatives and closed ones. Similarly, Delhi's Ulemas and scholars Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind Committee also termed his death as a loss to cummunity.
There are two sons and three daughters as descendants of late Maulana Syed Ali Taqvi. Majlis-e-Ulama-e-Hind especially pay tribute condolence to his descendant son, Maulana Syed Mohsin Taqvi. And Pray to ALLAH should increase his place higher and higher in the level of Masomeen .
