Kargil, 26 August 2017: Baqirya Health Care and Research Centre the health wing of IKMT Kargil a private institution engaged in promotion of quality helath in Kargil District organised atwo day free ‘Bone Densitometry Camp in Kargil and this programme was inaugurated by Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, Chaiman/CEC LAHDC KARGIL along with Haji Asgar Ali Karbalai, MLA Kargil, Mohd Hussain, EC Health, LAHDC, Kargil & DC Kargil Haji gulzar Hussain.
At the inaugural ceremony, addressing with the doctors of BHC&RC and other participants, Kacho appreciated the efforts of of Baqirya in general and particularly for organising such type of free medical camps for the people of Kargil. He added that the people of Kargil especially the common and poor people who cannot afford to travel outside the district for treatment will benefit from this camp and also said that Baqirya has done a commendable job for social cause. The two days free medical camp is for those patients who have bone related problems and around one thousand patients have been registered so far and almost 450 patients have been treated on the first day.

Talking to media the sponsor of the camp Nirmaljit Singh Gill, MD Astron Life Sciences PVT. Ltd, said he is very keen to work for social welfare and working with Baqirya has given him immense satisfaction and pleasure for getting an opportunity to serve the needy people. This free camp is being coordinated and supported actively by the President of Baqirya Dr. Villayat Ali and former president Dr. Ahmed Ali, Vice President, Baqirya, Dr. Olliyat and other volunteer doctors including Dr. Mohammad, Dr.Sajjad, Dr. Asif, Dr. Ali & executive members, volunteers of Baqirya & Basij.
