Nangarhar governor’s spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Pakistani suspects were arrested at around 4am in the morning in Kochiano Kala area of Rodat district.
He said the four wanted to swell Daesh ranks; however they were arrested along with two Afghan friends by security forces.
Khogyani didn’t go into details, but said the detainees were currently under investigation.
Meanwhile, security forces destroyed two heroin-making factories in Khogyani district on Saturday night.
The governor’s spokesman said the factories were located in Stara Tarmai area of the district and were discovered during a raid by police. He said no bullets were fired during the raid.
Meanwhile, the Nangarhar primary court sentenced two persons to five years in jail each and a third person to six months in prison on robbery charges.
