Two Shia Muslim brothers hailing from Layyah (Punjab) have reached their house in their native town on Thursday night as their elderly mother thank God and all those who launched campaign for release of all illegally imprisoned Shia Muslims.
Naseem Abbas was picked up when he was in Karachi while Shaheen Abbas was taken away from Lahore and subjected to enforced disappearances for a long time.
The family of these two brothers also thanked the army chief over his role in the release of the missing brothers. The relatives of the missing Shias along with some officials of the MWM had addressed a press conference at the Lahore Press Club on Thursday demanding release of all such victims.
Allama Hassan Zafar has launched Fill the Jails Movement in Karachi for missing Shias. Today, Allama Ahmed Iqbal is to court his arrest in Karachi.
