A senior Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement official underlined the necessity for continued resistance against the Zionist regime of Israel.
Addressing the second edition of the international conference of resistance scholars that kicked off in Beirut on Wednesday, Sheikh Naim Qassem, the deputy secretary general of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah, described resistance as the only choice for the Palestinian nation, expressing hope that it would ultimately defeat the Zionist enemy.
Israel’s life depends on murder, occupation, aggression and international support, he said.
As regards the possibility of new Israeli aggression against the resistance movement in Lebanon, Qassem said if the regime begins a new war, all its facilities will be within the range of resistance missiles.
More than 200 scholars from over 80 countries are attending the two-day event in Beirut.
“True Promise: Palestine between Balfour Declaration and Divine Promise” is the theme of the conference.
The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government during World War I announcing support for the establishment of the Israeli regime.
