Kabul - Afghan capital was closed on the threshold of Kabul Process meeting on peace to be held here on Tuesday.
According to reports, security forces have put containers on the streets which have ways to the presidential palace and the center of the capital city.
Hundreds of Police forces are on alert and the riot control vehicles and the armored cars are settled on the streets.
Simultaneous with the Kabul peace summit with participation of 25 world countries, the demonstrators were not allowed to put up their protest tents.
Kabul peace meeting is being held under the strict security measures.
Also, the dailies in the country are not released today.
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Pacific Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour has flown to Kabul to take part in the peace meeting which the Afghan Foreign Ministry spokesman Shakib Mostaghni says will be held at the level of deputy foreign minister and also with participation of representatives of the United Nations (UN), European Union (UN) and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
A few days ahead of the summit, Kabul was the scene of a huge blast that claimed the lives of about 90 people, mostly civilians.
