The US recognition of the holy Al Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime will pave the way for the Occupying regime's annihilation, said the secretary of Iran's Guardian Council.
'The move by US President Donald Trump to recognize the occupied Quds as Zionist regime's capital constituted an unwise act,' Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said on Wednesday, addressing the staff members of the Council.
What Trump did was provoking public outcry among world Muslims, Ayatollah Jannati added.
It was disrespect for the global Muslim public opinion, he added.
The secretary of the Iranian Guardian Council also said that all the divisions among world Muslims will one day come to an end.
