The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, slammed the Israeli regime’s recent moves to demolish the houses of some Palestinian fighters and said Tel Aviv cannot undermine the resistance front by such moves.
In a speech released on Friday, Hamas Spokesperson Husam Badran denounced the destruction of the houses of five Palestinian fighters in the West Bank over the past week and said the measures would only lead to stronger resistance by the Palestinian people against the Israeli occupiers.
The policy of the Zionist enemy to destroy the Palestinian fighters’ homes will never make them give up their resistance against the Israelis, he noted.
The Hamas spokesman further praised the Palestinian nation’s unity and called on all organizations and groups to help rebuild the demolished homes.
In the latest developments, Israeli soldiers demolished the family house of a Palestinian man, who stabbed three Israelis to death last month over Israel's crackdown on entry to the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East al-Quds (Jerusalem).
The destruction of the home on Wednesday took place in the village of Kobar in the West Bank.
Israel has been demolishing hundreds of Palestinian homes in the occupied territories since 1967 as a punitive measure.
