The big no of 128 counties to the US' moving its embassy to the Holy Quds was a turning point in the political history of the world, said Iran's Supreme Leader's military advisor on Saturday.
'The big no of 128 counties to the US in the UN in defense of Palestinians' rights and Quds as their capital was a turning point in the political history of the world; the US realized that it is no longer the sole superpower in the world. However, the US ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley is still going on with the plotting: one day, she puts on a ridiculous show about Yemeni missiles and baselessly accuses Iran, another day, she vetoes the UNSC resolution on Quds and Palestine,' said Hassan Firouz-Abadi in a statement.
Saying that the US has long descended his throne in the global village, he said if it again tries to keep its path, it may end in fall.
He also said that the Arab states should act in line with the regional countries to stop Saudi Arabia and the UAE and make them understand that the relations with the Zionist regime will be of no use to them and they should return to Islam.
The United Nations General Assembly voted Thursday on a resolution condemning President Trump's new policy recognizing Holy Quds as the capital of the Zionist regime. The General Assembly voted 128-9, with 35 abstentions, to declare Trump's declaration 'null and void.'
Last Monday, UNSC discussed Egypt's draft resolution about the Holy Quds, 14 out of 15 members agreed with the draft resolution, but the US vetoed it.
The draft resolution wanted all the countries not to move their embassies to Quds.
