Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Alavi Gorgani went on to say, “When mankind is vigilant to purify his ego, food and income, he will reach a place when Allah almighty would give ear to his words; as one loves Allah almighty and obeys his commands, Allah almighty will give ear to his servants’ worships and prayers in return.”
In a meeting with a group of seminary students from Iranian province of Eastern Azerbaijan in Qom on Tuesday, senior Shia cleric Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Alavi Gorgani asserted that Allah almighty has blessed mankind with many bounties in life one of which is the gift of youth.
The senior scholar highlighted the significance of youth period in one’s life saying, “Many of greatest scholars reached high scientific and spiritual positions in life during their youth including Luqman.”
Ayatollah Sayyed Muhammad Alavi Gorgani went on to say, “When mankind is vigilant to purify his ego, food and income, he will reach a place when Allah almighty would give ear to his words; as one loves Allah almighty and obeys his commands, Allah almighty will give ear to his servants’ worships and prayers in return.”
Elsewhere in his remarks, the seminary lecturer added, “The journey that you young students have begun is the journey that prophets and Allah’s most beloved servants have taken. They have made efforts to promote moral virtues and divine values in the world.”
Ayatollah Alavi Gorgani concluded by saying, “saying prayers, performing the religious duty of enjoining what is good and forbidding what is wrong as well as patience in the time of hardship in life is among the foundational principles that prominent scholars and the enlightened adhered to.”
