Palestinian resistance movement Hamas called for a huge turnout of Palestinian people in the upcoming demonstrations marking the International Quds Day, which is marked annually on the last Friday of the Islamic holy of month of Ramadan.
Hamas, the Palestinian political movement that rules the Gaza Strip, called on the Palestinian nation in a statement to hold mass rallies on Friday to vent their anger at the Zionist regime’s aggression against Palestine and its sanctities.
The upcoming demonstrations are meant to tell the enemy that Palestine will never cave in to aggression, blockade, and Judaization of the Palestinian territories.
The International Quds Day is an annual event during which demonstrators express their solidarity with the Palestinian people and opposition to the occupation of the Palestinian territories by the Zionist regime of Israel.
The day is seen as the legacy of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Khomeini, who officially declared the last Friday of Ramadan as International Quds Day back in 1979.
