Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli-Larijani said on Thursday that failure to implement what has been enshrined in the Constitution is rooted in the weaknesses of the managers and permanent pressures of the foreign enemies.
Addressing a gathering of heads of the justice departments, Amoli-Larijani said that despite all shortfalls, the Islamic Republic of Iran, today, is stronger than ever in the region and world.
It is the strength of the Islamic Republic that has made certain regional states as well as the arrogant powers to think twice before trying to harm the country, he said.
The Iranian judiciary chief went on to denounce measures taken by US President Donald Trump against Iran describing such measures as evident to Iran's growing powerful.
A clear evident to Iran's power is that a person like Trump, as the president of a country which considers itself to be the most powerful country in the world, in the tweets he writes and stances he adopts, is constantly thinking about countering Iran, he stressed.
Amoli-Larijani said that with the increasing pace of Iran's power, the country is witnessing the heightening of threats of sanctions and attempts aimed at toppling the Iranian Islamic establishment.
All the people and officials should join hands and protect the establishment that is the outcome of the sacrifices made by the Iranian martyrs and the struggle of the soldiers, he said.
Referring to the issue of the cyber space and social networks, he said, 'We do not believe in closing the cyber space.'
But we should create a safe path for our citizens to choose from amongst the options available and will not necessarily choose the paths defined and controlled by the enemies, he said.
