Simultaneously with the auspicious birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (as) which marks the Week of Unity in Islamic World, Head of Iranian Seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi addressed a group of seminary figures and students at a ceremony in Bandar Abbas, Iran.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Head of Iranian Seminaries Ayatollah Alireza Arafi congratulated this auspicious birth anniversary and said, “Unity has always been regarded as a major priority in the Islamic world; we must pay special attention to this great matter since the issue of Islamic unity and solidarity within Muslim community is of significant importance in present era.”
Senior Shia cleric further asserted that Prophet Muhammad (as) is considered as the best role model for Islamic seminaries as well as Muslim students; “The revolutionary seminary, which acts according to Prophet Muhammad (As) and his Ahlulbayt’s valuable teachings, is a seminary which sympathizes with the whole Muslim community, it’s a seminary that caters to people’s religious needs and is always present to help them.”
In the end, Head of Iranian Seminaries pointed out recent developments in the seminary of Hormozgan adding, “Hormozgan seminary is progressing due to endeavors of prominent religious figures and seminary students and there’s still a long way to go in order to reach full potential.”
