The US's illegal decision to move its embassy to the Holy Quds was an American-reactionary Arab-Zionist project that took shape with propagation, imposition and boycott, said the head of Iran parliament's research center on Monday.
'The wicked decision of the US will undoubtedly have overt consequences that should be examined carefully and meticulously,' said Kazem Jalali in a conference about Palestine in Tehran.
He said the freedom of Palestine is the top priority among the Muslim World's issues. 'In such a situation, the enemies try to exploit political, economic, media, and military tools to desacralize the region to reduce sensitivity of Muslims and try to widen the drifts among them to divert their attention from Palestine.'
Saying that the move was expectable, the MP said that speculations and analyses in the past five years signified a clandestine policy of the US and the Zionist regime regarding the reactionary arab states of the region.
'The crawling diplomacy had two parts. First, they tried to promote Iranophobia to instill that the main threat is Iran in order to distract the Arab countries from the Holy Quds,' he said.
Second, Jalali added, they claim that Islamic resistance groups, especially Hezbollah, are terrorist groups and allege that Iran as the supporter of these groups is supporting terrorism.
