Supreme Leader's adviser in international affairs cautioned the Muslim Ummah about enemy's propagations and urged them to become united.
Speaking to reporters on the occasion of the 'Unity Week' which one of its days marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Ali Akbar Velayati said that promoting 'religious proximity' and underlining the 'commonalities' is the only way to counter enemy's plots for sowing the seed of discord in the Islamic World.
He referred to propagation of Iranophobia, Islamophobia and Shiaphobia by the western media, and said that ensuring the Zionist regime's security is the aim of such efforts.
The Iranian official said that 'enemy's efforts for changing the confrontation between Islam and Zionism into a confrontation between Islam and Islam' is doomed to failure.
